Reliance MET City celebrated a significant milestone with the groundbreaking and stone-laying ceremony for BEUMER Group’s new facility. This event marks the entry of its first German company into MET City, aligning with the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative and highlighting the strong ties between BEUMER Group and MET City.

BEUMER Group is a global leader in material handling solutions, serving industries such as mining, cement, building materials, petrochemical, consumer goods, postal, e-commerce, fashion, and baggage handling. This new facility in MET City, their second in Haryana, enhances BEUMER India’s global footprint and supports the local economy by fostering small businesses in the surrounding areas, including reliance industrial plots.
MET City: A Hub of Economic Activity and Innovation
MET City has rapidly emerged as one of India’s largest integrated greenfield smart cities. It hosts over 570 companies from various sectors, including defence, engineering, electronics, auto components, medical devices, FMCG, footwear, plastics, and consumer products. Recognized as an IGBC Platinum-rated Integrated Smart City, MET City is also the only Japan Industrial Township (JIT) in Haryana, accommodating multiple Japanese companies.

The facility is set to be completed by 2025 and operational by September 2025.
